Experience the Luxury of Sierra Grande: A Review of My Recent Trip

The Entrance to the Casita at Sierra Grande Lodge & Spa

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sierra Grande Lodge & Spa in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; and I was blown away by their stunning Casita. This two-bedroom casita has a full kitchen and private yard complete with sitting areas, a fire pit, and a hot springs tub!

From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a luxurious and restful stay. The casita was spacious, with plenty of room for my family and me to spread out. The decor was modern and tasteful, with all the amenities I could want. The beds were comfortable, the linens were soft, and the bathroom was stocked with high-end toiletries. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. They offered a lovely breakfast each morning.

Even though it was exceptionally cold during our visit, we still enjoyed the outdoor hot springs tub. The 104°F geothermal water was perfect even in the cold night air. And it was an amazing spot for taking in the stars!

The Casita is right in town which allows you to walk to all the attractions in Truth or Consequences. During our stay, we took a short walk over to the Spaceport Visitor Center and Truth or Consequences Brewing. I highly recommend doing a day tour or either Ladder or Armendaris Reserves (they pick you up right at the Sierra Grande lobby). You’ll also want to make the two-hour drive to White Sands National Park.

Sierra Grande is part of Ted Turner’s properties and offers a more affordable alternative to staying at Ladder and Armendaris Reserves. Overall, I would highly recommend the Casita at the Sierra Grande Lodge & Spa to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The casita was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the amenities were top-notch. I look forward to staying here again!
